  • At GOOD MOVE, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone who enters our space. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or not in alignment with our studio policies.

  • Welcome, you’ve come to the right place! All of our classes are beginner-friendly and designed for people of all levels, regardless of background or any past experience. We recommend starting with “Adult Beginner Dance (aka Hot Bitch)” for your first dance class! When you feel ready, you can move onto Hip Hop and/or Modern-ish to get a feel for different styles.

  • We recommend reserving your spot ahead of time — sign up on our schedule page.

  • Wear whatever you’re comfortable moving in! Socks or bare feet are recommended for dance classes, although shoes are an option.

  • We offer Community Classes every week on a sliding scale - “pay what you wish” starting at $10. It’s a great way to get a feel for our classes, especially if it’s your first time!

  • Yes! We have a great New Student Intro Special which allows you to take any of our classes unlimited for 2 weeks!

  • We have a locker room with cubbies and lockers available for your belongings.

  • Out of respect and safety for your fellow classmates and instructors, classes start on time. We are firm with this policy because opening the studio door once it’s been closed disturbs the flow of the class. If you arrive late for your class, we would be happy to find a spot for you in the next class.

  • We have a 12hr cancellation/rescheduling policy after your booking is made. We understand things come up so you can always email us if you are past this timeframe and we’ll see what we can do!

  • All packages and memberships are non-refundable. Retail items can be exchanged for size or color within 24 hours of purchase. All merchandise sales are final—no refunds. Gift cards are non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

  • We do not have showers but we have two changing rooms and two bathrooms.

  • Yes, if you wish to pay in cash, please arrive at the studio 5-10minutes before the class so we can get you sorted!

  • Yes, Intro Specials last for 2 weeks and 5-Packs expire after 3 months. Memberships auto-renew monthly.

  • You must email us at least 48hrs before your next billing cycle to request a membership cancellation. Any memberships cancelled before the 3-month minimum will result in a $100 early termination fee.

  • Please do! Unlimited Members get 1 free guest pass per month (Deluxe Members get 2 free guest passes/month). For Friday Community Classes, bring a friend for free and they can get 10% off their first purchase (excluding memberships). Email us with your guests name/email (they must have a Mindbody account) and the class they’d like to book.

  • We don’t allow Intro Special or 5-Packs to be shared but you are welcome to purchase a drop-in for a friend!

  • Mat rentals are free for all members. Otherwise, you can rent them for $2 (first mat rental is free).

  • Yes, we have a water station with cups but encourage you to bring your own bottle!
