For the last six years, Somatic Intuitive Leadership Training (SILT) has been one of the offerings closest to my heart. I’m so excited to share that interest has grown so much that SILT will be offered twice in 2026:

What is SILT?
Somatic Intuitive Leadership Training (SILT) is an in-person, somatic-based leadership training rooted in movement, community building, intersectional feminist philosophy, and embodied intuition. SILT is built on the belief that leadership is not something we perfect alone, but something we practice in continued relationship with our own bodies and with others who bring different lived experiences, identities, and perspectives into the room. The course is part movement and somatic work, part leadership practice, and part reading and discussing feminist texts.
This training is for people who feel the pull to lead—whether in studios, classrooms, healing spaces, workplaces, or communities—and who want to do so in ways that are grounded in the wisdom of the body, integrity, and collective liberation.
Together, we explore how to:
Build trust in your own somatic intelligence
Release perfectionism
Lead from the body’s intelligence, rather than default to the analytic brain
Facilitate movement and group experiences with confidence and care
Practice taking up space while also creating and holding space for others
Teach and lead in the spirit of collective liberation for all
Vision your path— envision the future and how you'll bring the SILT tools into your life—whether that's in your work, creative practice, or personal growth.
SILT is experiential, relational, and exploratory. We learn by doing—trying things on, noticing what happens in our bodies, and practicing leadership in real time. The group itself becomes part of the curriculum, offering a rich, layered environment where growth happens through shared practice, reflection, and relationship.
As Helen Phelan beautifully shared after completing the last round of SILT:
“SILT was a beautiful container to reconnect with my own somatic wisdom, challenge some of my instincts and habits as a movement facilitator, and build confidence integrating different modalities and skills into my teaching practice… being challenged to just start doing and learning through execution before impostor syndrome or nerves have time to set in was incredibly helpful.”

What SILT students are saying
“This program was one of my absolute favorite things I did this year… or, ever. There was never a dull moment. I found a group of people who view the world similarly and believe deeply in the importance of connecting to the wisdom of our bodies… If you’ve ever thought about your role in society and your connection to your body, and are a lover of movement, you will be energized by this.” - Hillary Barr
“The best way to describe this program is like being able to recharge. It was electric and I am still buzzing with so much hope in a time that can often feel hopeless… It is something I will never forget and keep with me as I continue through this journey of life, healing, and moving through it all.” - Laura Cavaliere
