BEACON MINI RETREAT WITH JULES & MADISON

Saturday September 12th

Departing from GOOD MOVE at 8:15 am · Leaving Beacon at 5:30 pm

$250 (non-members)
$200 (all members)

WHAT’S A MINI RETREAT????

It’s a special little slice of GOOD MOVE retreat heaven, distilled into the span of a single day.

Join us for a day of movement, hiking, nature, connection, creativity, and community, designed to help us exhale, soften, and reconnect as we tune into the shifting energy of late summer.

We’ll take care of transportation from GOOD MOVE to Beacon on the morning of the 12th. Once we arrive at the trailhead, we’ll begin with intention setting, journaling, and a grounding warm-up class featuring strength, mobility, stretching, and everything you need for a beautiful embodied day outdoors.

From there, we’ll hike for about 90 minutes through the woods to a secluded swimming hole, where the afternoon awaits: a picnic lunch, a luxurious rest in the sun, a dip in cool water, good company, and nowhere else to be. Then, we’ll gather for a gentle somatic movement practice before making our way back down the mountain together.

One day to move, swim, reflect, and soak up the last rays of summer.

Limited to 14 participants.

Femlord’s Meditative Imagination Experience

SUNDAY September 13th

$30 (non-members + mini members)
$24 (20% off for unlimited + deluxe members)

Femlord’s Meditative Imagination Experience is a live guided meditation that is part narrative, part comedy, and part fever dream. The experience explores meditation, live-altered vocals and movement to pull you into a story that is as absurd as it is calming. Femlord performs with an awkward intimacy, reminding us that wellness culture doesn’t have to be serious.

Femlord is a New York based performer and video artist working at the intersection of experimental comedy and mindfulness. Femlord believes that laugher and stillness can coexist and that the nonsensical is often where the truth lives.

the psychedelic body with Jules

Saturday September 26th, 6:30 PM - 8:30 pm

FREE (deluxe members)
$40.50 (unlimited members) $45 (non-members + mini members)

What if the most psychedelic experience available to you wasn't found outside yourself, but inside your own body?

The Psychedelic Body is a moving meditation that invites us away from perfectionism, self-consciousness, and the endless chatter of the mind and back into presence, aliveness, and connection.

We'll begin slowly, building from breath, sensory awareness, and simple somatic practices into a sweaty, cathartic experience of expressive movement.

There is no choreography to learn, no dance experience required, and absolutely no pressure to "perform."

Just an opportunity to explore, play, and remember what it feels like to be fully here.

To feel your heart pumping.

To inhabit your body more completely.

To move beyond thinking into experiencing and feeling.

Moving freely, giving ourselves permission to take up space, to listen deeply, and follow the wisdom of the body, we wake up!

We become more alive and present and connected versions of ourselves. And that, to me, is what a psychedelic experience is all about. No drugs needed!

This workshop is designed for all bodies and all experience levels, especially those who feel intimidated by "dance" with a capital D.

Come as you are, don’t forget to bring your curiosity and sense of play.

The Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS) with julius

Sunday September 27th, 6:45 PM - 8:45 pm

$45 (non-members)
$36 (all members)

The Elemental Body Alignment System (EBAS) is a series of exercises designed for structural integrity and supported range of motion.

Through anchoring and initiating movements via the pelvis, the body discovers its ability to efficiently articulate movement through experiential anatomy.

The work deepens the students understanding of where movement comes from, how to align the body and to build a physical consciousness of open pathways of energy for movement.

The system helps the learner to override the central nervous system creating new neuromuscular firings supporting a greater understanding of sensorial technique.

Somatic Resonance — An Exclusive Sound & Reiki Experience

SUNDAY 10/18, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

$40 (non-members + mini members)
$32 (unlimited members)
Free (deluxe members)

Somatic Resonance is a collaborative project combining group reiki facilitated by Nanse Kawashima with music by Bryce Hackford.

All materials have their resonant frequencies. Bryce Hackford intuitively tunes to the resonant frequencies of human body in meditated performance and observation. These tones generally center lower thresholds of human hearing and can be psychoactive. A viscous music, not unlike cuddling up to a giant cat; you are the glass of water on the dashboard.

Reiki is a well-known form of energy healing with origins in Japan, where it was founded by Mikao Usui in 1922. As a Reiki practitioner, Nanse Kawashima works with universal life force energy while engaging with clients, employing a gentle, light touch of the hands on various energy centers throughout the body. Results can vary significantly; clients often report experiencing a sense of groundedness, inner peace and comforting feeling of coming home to their true self; senses of realignment, recentering and expansiveness. This therapeutic practice is considered beneficial for various imbalances and discomforts in body, mind and spirit.

Kawashima and Hackford view their respective practices as complementary, synergistically blending sound and energy vibrations. When the two resonances merge, they foster a unique sensorial experience, allowing people to drift into relaxation or deepen their bodily awareness.

Gentle Movement + Sound Bath with Jules & Samer

Saturday June 6th, 7:00 PM - 9:00 pm

$45 (non-members + mini members)
$36 (unlimited + deluxe members)

We love Gemini season babes but lets admit that the chaos can get us feeling a little cray cray if we don’t make time to ground.

At this time of year, the mind tends to move faster than the body: Too many tabs open, lot’s of information, social calendar on speed.

Possibly our most relaxing offering, Gentle Movement + Sound Bath is designed as the antidote to all of that.

We’ll begin with gentle but grounding core activation, mobility work, stretching, fascia release, and restorative movement to help discharge stress and reconnect you to your body. Expect a slower, more intentional pace designed to regulate the nervous system rather than overwhelm it.

From there, we’ll melt into an immersive sound bath led by Samer — allowing the body to settle, the mind to soften, and the whole system to recalibrate.

Think of this evening as a little nervous system wind down for Gemini season. A chance to drop back into the bod, deepen the breath, unclench the muscles, and sloowwwww down.

DANCING THE TAROT

Saturday, 3/28, 6:45pm-8:15pm

$45 (non-members + mini members)
$40.50 (unlimited & deluxe members)

Tony Bordonaro is an intuitive card reader, yoga and meditation teacher, and choreographer whose work blends tarot, movement, and embodied intuition. After years performing in immersive theater productions including Sleep No More and Life & Trust, he brings over 12 years of Vedic meditation practice and his experience teaching improvisation (The Ailey School, Rutgers, LIU) into playful, grounding experiences designed to get energy moving and curiosity flowing.

We’ll kick things off with a collective tarot pull to see what energies are in the room, then let the cards lead us into movement. Good Movers will be guided through a playful, improvisational exploration designed to shake loose stuck energy, wake up the body, and flirt with the unknown. This is about getting energy moving again - out of stagnation, into sensation, and galloping forward toward the abundance of 2026. No dance or tarot experience needed. Just bring your body, your curiosity, and your desire for freedom!
